Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and service standards across our hospitality or commercial facilities. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks
- Develop work schedules to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing efficiency
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Monitor cleaning quality to meet or exceed industry standards for hygiene and presentation
- Enforce safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, chemical handling, and equipment use
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and janitorial equipment to maintain operational readiness
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within hospitality, hotel, or commercial cleaning environments
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning and janitorial services
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams and managing staff schedules
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to custodial work and chemical handling
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in laundry operations and hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Ability to motivate teams, foster a positive work environment, and uphold high standards of cleanliness
