Join our dynamic automotive team as a Lube Technician, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional vehicle maintenance and service. In this energetic position, you'll perform routine oil changes, tire services, and basic inspections to ensure our customers' vehicles operate smoothly and safely. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will help keep our customers satisfied while supporting the overall efficiency of our service department. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your automotive repair expertise and grow within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes, fluid top-offs, and filter replacements efficiently and accurately
- Perform tire rotations, balancing, alignments, and tire replacements to maintain vehicle safety standards
- Assist with basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and communicate findings to senior technicians
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform maintenance tasks with precision
- Support automotive diagnostics by gathering information on vehicle performance issues
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures is essential
- Experience with automotive diagnostics, oil changes, alignments, and tire services is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic automotive service equipment required
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Service technician experience or related automotive maintenance background is advantageous
- Basic understanding of automotive safety standards and maintenance protocols
