PORTABELLOS of KENNETT SQUARE is currently seeking a bartender to join our amazing team.
POSITION OVERVIEW: As the primary contact for guests in the bar, the Bartender is responsible for selling, preparing and serving mixed beverages, wine and food. Duties include preparing and serving beverages, overseeing bar maintenance, making menu suggestions, delivering food and drinks, describing the dishes to guests, recommending wine selections, monitoring guest satisfaction, and managing inventory. Must be pleasant, conscientious, and professional with knowledge of mixology, product, and alcoholic beverage selections. Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth service operations and quality service.

You have a strong desire to learn and take a leading role in staff education and development.
What you bring to the table:
- 2 years experience as a bartender in a high volume fine dining or casual restaurant
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience in recipe development, inventory management, and staff education
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work clean, organized, and as part of a team
- Ability to move and lift 40 pounds at a time
- At least 21 years of age
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
Pay: $100.00 - $350.00 per day
