Are you a passionate and professional individual looking for part time work in helping children and families? It Takes A Village is looking for a skilled worker with experience in the helping field to work predominately non-traditional hours (late afternoons-evenings/occasional Saturday)
The position of Family Group Decision Making/Family Finding Coordinator/Facilitator requires someone with a Bachelor's degree in the helping fields and ability to work approximately 20-25 hours per week. This is a salaried position. Recent DPW Childline, PA State Police and FBI clearances are required. Further requirements are possession of valid driver's license and a vehicle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working within child protective services or child welfare systems with a strong understanding of related legal and procedural requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs populations
- Knowledge of adoption processes and post-permanency supports is highly desirable
- Strong background in social work, child development, or related fields with experience working directly with children and families
- Excellent facilitation skills combined with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
