Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced, dynamic and compassionate Social Services Director to lead and oversee our social service programs dedicated to supporting individuals in Long Term Care. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social service initiatives that promote client well-being, independence. Your leadership will ensure our programs meet regulatory standards, foster positive relationships with clients and community partners, and uphold the highest levels of service quality. Duties
- Lead the planning, development, and management of social service programs tailored to individuals in Long Term Care.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, families, community organizations.
- Oversee program compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including documentation standards and ethical practices
- Develop new initiatives aligned with community needs, including behavioral health support and behavioral intervention strategies
- Oversee staff training on topics such as social work best practices, cultural competency, bilingual communication skills, and behavioral health interventions
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools and PCC for reporting, documentation, data analysis, and communication purposes
- Ensure and adhere to confidentiality policies and maintain accurate client records in compliance with legal standards
Experience
- Proven leadership experience in social services administration or management within healthcare or Long Term Care.
- Extensive experience working directly with individuals with Elderly or behavioral health needs
- Demonstrated success in relationship management with clients, families, community partners, and funding agencies
- Strong background in program development, implementation, and evaluation in social services settings
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes and PCC
- Knowledge of relevant regulations governing social services provision and client rights
