Integrity Trade Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused Pipe Yard Helper/Forklift Operator to join our outdoor yard operations team. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, measuring, cutting, banding, and moving steel pipe and related materials using large-capacity forklifts and other material handling equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions, is mechanically inclined, and is committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment
Responsibilities
Operate large-capacity forklifts to safely load, unload, transport, and stage pipe and related materials throughout the outdoor pipe yard.
Pull, inspect, and prepare customer orders according to work orders and shipping documents.
Measure pipe accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools.
Cut pipe to customer specifications using approved cutting equipment.
Band, bundle, tag, and secure materials for shipment using manual and pneumatic banding equipment.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
Load and unload flatbed trailers and delivery trucks while ensuring proper load securement.
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe outdoor yard by removing debris and keeping storage areas orderly.
Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment or safety concerns immediately.
Assist with inventory counts and material identification.
Follow all OSHA regulations, company policies, and safe work practices.
Perform additional warehouse and yard duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in a pipe yard, steel service center, warehouse, construction, or industrial environment preferred.
Minimum of one year of forklift experience; experience operating large-capacity forklifts is preferred.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic measurements and calculations.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and banding equipment.
Ability to safely handle long, heavy, and oversized materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to read work orders and shipping documentation.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
