Position Overview
Pintail Property Services/ Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Concrete Finisher & Hardscape Foreman to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled professional with a minimum of five years of concrete finishing experience who can confidently lead a crew, train team members, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with concrete installation and finishing, as well as knowledge of paver installation, hardscaping, grading, and equipment operation. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise concrete and hardscape crews on residential and commercial projects.
- Perform all aspects of concrete work, including forming, pouring, finishing, and curing.
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members to improve productivity and craftsmanship.
- Read and interpret project plans, layouts, and specifications.
- Operate and oversee the safe use of construction equipment and tools.
- Coordinate daily job site activities and ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Perform site preparation, grading, and material management.
- Install pavers, patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
- Maintain quality control and ensure all work meets company standards.
- Enforce job site safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional concrete finishing experience required.
- Proven experience leading crews and managing job site operations.
- Ability to train and mentor less experienced team members.
- Experience with pavers, hardscaping, grading, and excavation preferred.
- Equipment operation experience preferred (skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, etc.).
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
