Hours:
160 hours anticipated over the course of the entire school year.

First Semester Work: August 2026 - January 2027
Second Semester Work: January 2027 - June 2027
The student schedule coverage needs are Tuesday and Thursday Evenings, and every other Wednesday evening, 4:00PM- 9:00PM and the position can be filled by more than one nurse. Include availability in the application submitted.
Organizational Relationship or Line of Authority:
Works under the supervision of the Principal of Marlborough High School, the Director of Alternative Education, and the site administrator
Compensation:
$35.00 per hour to be paid off timesheets.

Qualifications:

Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.

A valid, current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.

Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a School Nurse

Previous pediatric experience required.

Current certification in cardiopulmonary CPR/AED from a recognized provider.

Technical knoweldge - Strong professional knowledge specific to subject area, self-directed in aquiring knowledge and skills for school nursing practice and keeping up to date and applying new knowledge to the job.

Technology Use - Data base entry and use of Microsoft software including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, Outlook and data bases including the eletronic health records and web based sites for tracking information.
