Job Overview
We're an Omaha-based amusement route company installing, servicing, and supporting jukeboxes, commercial sound systems, and security cameras for bars, restaurants, and other commercial venues across the region. This role splits between bench work in our shop and field work at customer locations — you'll own the full lifecycle of a job, from board-level repair on the bench to on-site design, wiring, networking, and install, without needing a lot of hand-holding.
What You'll Do
- Design, install, and wire jukebox and commercial sound system installations at customer locations
- Configure basic networking (routers, switches, IP addressing) to get connected jukebox systems online, and troubleshoot connectivity issues when they pop up
- Perform bench repair on jukeboxes and sound equipment in the shop — board-level diagnostics, component swaps, and testing before units go back out on route
- Diagnose and repair jukebox and sound equipment on-site when a bench pull isn't practical
- Install and support security camera systems — cabling, NVR/DVR setup, camera placement
- Run low-voltage wiring for new installs and upgrades
- Work directly with customers on-site on install specs, timelines, and service issues
- Work directly with manufacturers on technical support, parts, and warranty claims
- Manage a route of recurring service accounts and respond to service calls promptly
- Keep accurate install and service records
What You Need
- Working knowledge of basic computer networking (IP configuration, routers/switches, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
- Experience running low-voltage wiring/cabling
- Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills, including component-level diagnostics and soldering
- Comfortable working independently at customer sites with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to [50–75] lbs
- Professional, customer-facing communication
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with AV/audio equipment, jukeboxes, or amusement/vending route service
- Security camera system experience (NVR/DVR platforms)
- Low-voltage or networking certifications
