What You'll Do
As Service Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of dealership fixed operations while leading a team committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities include:
Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff
Drive department performance in profitability, efficiency, CSI, and employee engagement
Manage daily service operations, workflow, scheduling, and repair quality
Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including labor sales, RO count, technician productivity, effective labor rate, warranty performance, and CSI
Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and expense control
Partner with Parts, Sales, and dealership leadership to create a seamless customer experience
Resolve customer concerns professionally while building long-term loyalty
Maintain compliance with manufacturer, safety, and company standards
Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Proven success managing a high-volume automotive service department
Strong leadership skills with a coaching and people-development mindset
Experience managing service department financial performance and P&L
Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
