Welch Excavation & Utility Co., Inc. is now hiring experienced Dump Truck Drivers and Class A CDL Drivers to pull End Dump Trailers. We offer steady, year-round work with plenty of hours and opportunities to grow with a well-established construction and excavation company. Must be willing to work out of town 5-6 days per week. Some travel out of state.

Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and other heavy-duty vehicles to transport materials to designated locations
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure and balanced loads
- Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to scheduled timelines and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid CDL License (Class B for Dump Trucks, Class A for End Dump Drivers)
- Clean Driving Record Preferred
- Ability to Pass Drug Screening
- Dependable and Safety-Conscious
- Construction, Aggregate, Dirt, or Heavy Haul Experience Preferred
- Must Be Able to Work Long Hours and Occasional Saturdays
Responsibilities

- Secure and tarp loads properly
- Maintain accurate paperwork and communication with dispatch
- Represent the company professionally at all job sites and customer locations
