Mech Mental Health Innovations is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Practice Manager with a minimum qualification of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee the daily operations of our growing mental health clinic.
This leadership role combines hands-on clinical nursing responsibilities with administrative and operational management to ensure high-quality patient care, safe and compliant medication practices, efficient clinic workflows, and strong team leadership.
The Practice Manager will work closely with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and executive leadership to support comprehensive mental health services, including medication management, refill coordination, TMS, QEEG, and other advanced behavioral health treatments.
Responsibilities
Clinical Nursing & Medication Management (Core Focus)
- Provide direct clinical oversight of nursing workflows and medication-related processes.
- Manage medication refill requests, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination under provider direction.
- Support psychiatric providers in safe medication management, monitoring, and patient follow-up care.
- Review and triage clinical messages related to medications, side effects, and patient concerns.
- Ensure proper documentation of medication administration, refills, and clinical communication in the EHR.
- Monitor medication storage, compliance, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and adherence.
Clinical & Operational Leadership
- Manage day-to-day clinic operations and ensure efficient clinical workflows.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision for nursing and clinical support staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, HIPAA, OSHA, and accreditation standards.
- Monitor quality metrics, patient safety initiatives, and clinical performance.
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
Staff Leadership
- Supervise front office, nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative personnel.
- Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and evaluate employees.
- Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate clinical coverage.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
Patient Care & Experience
- Ensure high-quality patient experience from intake through follow-up care.
- Address patient concerns and escalate clinical issues appropriately.
- Support coordination of care between providers, pharmacies, and outside healthcare organizations.
- Monitor patient flow and improve overall clinic efficiency.
Clinical Operations & Treatment Support
- Support psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners in delivering care.
- Oversee workflows for TMS, QEEG, Spravato, medication management, and other behavioral health services.
- Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and clinical areas are properly maintained and compliant.
- Support accurate clinical documentation and regulatory adherence.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Monitor operational performance and support process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate billing workflows, prior authorizations, and documentation compliance.
- Manage inventory, supplies, vendor relationships, and facility operations.
- Prepare operational reports and key performance indicators for leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. (an active LVN/LPN license and strong clinical leadership experience may be considered.)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience, including 3 years in a leadership or practice management role.
- Strong experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health nursing strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of medication management, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulations.
- Experience with EHR systems, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary clinical teams in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practice management certification (CMPE or equivalent).
- Experience with TMS, QEEG, Spravato, ketamine therapy, or advanced psychiatric services.
- Experience with revenue cycle management and healthcare quality improvement initiatives.

Pay: $63,000.00 - $82,231.21 per year
