This is an active, floor-level management job. You will run the kitchen line, handle the cash drawers, and direct your staff during busy rushes. It fits a food service worker who knows how to keep a kitchen moving, hit labor and waste targets, and directly coach a team on their feet.
Requirements to Apply
- Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of job experience
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, and stand for the duration of a shift
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Preferred:
- Some college education
On-the-Floor Duties
- Direct the shift crew to ensure orders are cooked accurately and served on time.
- Train new staff on food prep procedures, safety rules, and customer service.
- Track daily labor costs, monitor food waste, and manage inventory levels.
- Count cash drawers, manage daily cash procedures, and secure the point-of-sale system.
- Inspect the kitchen and dining room constantly to ensure strict cleanliness and food safety rules are met.
- Step in to cook food or run the register whenever the line gets backed up.
- Report maintenance issues, hiring paperwork, and risk management concerns to the General Manager.
