We are currently hiring for a Front Desk Clerk for a housing community in Mountain View - A former Hotel converted into Permanent, Supportive, Homeless Housing.
We are looking for someone who has property management experience, hotel front desk experience, security guard experience or experience with homeless populations. The ideal applicants must possess patience, empathy and understanding with our residents while also being professional and enforcing property rules.
Front Desk Clerk positions INCLUDE WORKING HOLIDAYS - if your regular scheduled work shift falls on an observed Holiday, you are required to report to work as normal and will be paid double-time for that shift.
Shifts we have Available :
- FT: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM = 7.5 hours per day for 37.5 hours per week.
- PT: Saturday & Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM = 7.5 hours per day for 15 hours per week.
DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cover the Front Reception Desk throughout entire shift
- Greet all Walk-In residents and/or guests with professional customer service
- Grant building access to all visitors - checking them in & out as applicable
- Answer all incoming calls and address caller needs, taking appropriate messages or directing the caller to the appropriate place
- Monitor the Security Cameras and Building entrances
- Review security footage and complete necessary incident reports
- Upon returning from meal or breaks, review security footage for any activity that needs to be addressed during your absence
- Keep front reception desk organized and professional looking at all times
- Generate Maintenance Work Orders as needed, contact maintenance personnel if emergency, priority or health & safety
- Enforce Lease and Occupancy Rules
- Schedule appointments with existing residents for various management needs
- Distribute resident notices as needed
- Copy & Distribute documents as requested by staff
- Send outgoing mail, distribute incoming faxes and mail as applicable
- Assist with filing as needed
- Conduct all duties maintaining resident and applicant confidentiality
- Conduct all business per Fair Housing Guidelines & DMC Policies & Procedures
- All other tasks assigned by the Area Supervisor
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION:
- $20 per hour
- We have 2 Shifts Available = 1 M-F 2pm-10pm and 1 =Sat-Sun 2pm-10pm
- If your regular scheduled shift falls on a HOLIDAY, you are required to work as normally scheduled and will be paid double pay for that shift.
