Overview
Soul Real Market is looking for high-energy, friendly, reliable, and helpful individuals who are down to support wherever needed. From setting up signs to assisting with giveaways to keeping the vibes running smoothly during event days, your energy and teamwork make it all happen!
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, breakdown, and overall organization of events to ensure smooth execution from start to finish
- Support event marketing efforts by engaging with guests, promoting event features, and upselling services or products when appropriate
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries promptly, managing guest flow, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Staff activity booths (ex: workshop stations, trading areas, Soul Real info stands, etc.)
- Ensure site is clean and prepared for event
- Be a friendly face for vendors and guests
- Pick up supplies for event as needed
- Support other team members with miscellaneous tasks
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, or customer service is highly desirable
- Familiarity with event planning processes, including vendor coordination and production systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse settings
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Experience in fundraising or guest services roles can be advantageous for engaging diverse audiences

- Able to lift or carry event materials (tables, bins, signs)

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
