Red Tail Wraps in Madison, WI is seeking a talented and experienced Vehicle Wrap Designer to join our team. This is a full-time, design-focused role with no installation required. You will transform customer ideas into high-impact, professional vehicle graphics, managing projects from initial concept through to final, print-ready production files.Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour (dependent on experience).
- Job Type: Full-time.
- Work Location: On-site at our Madison shop.
- Remote Work: This position requires daily, hands-on collaboration and is 100% on-site with no remote work options.

Key Responsibilities
- Design custom vehicle wraps for a wide variety of cars, trucks, vans, and commercial fleets.
- Consult with clients to understand their brand goals, budget, and design preferences.
- Utilize precise vehicle templates to ensure designs fit specific make, model, and year specifications.
- Prepare flawless, print-ready files with proper bleeds, panels, and scaling for production.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure design accuracy and seamless file handoffs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience designing full and partial vehicle wraps.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (vector design, scaling, layout).
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (photo manipulation, realistic mockups).
- Deep understanding of print production processes, color management, and vinyl materials.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful, real-world vehicle wrap projects.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills to translate client visions into reality.
- Strict attention to detail to prevent measurement and scaling errors.
- Strong time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
