We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman / Groundskeeper to join our team. As a vital part of our hospitality staff, you will ensure that common areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Your commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization will contribute significantly to our guests' overall experience at the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and report shortages as necessary.
- Uphold the hotel's standards for cleanliness and presentation in all areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
- Previous experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and custodial duties is a plus.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
