Responsibilities
- Conduct outdoor canvassing campaigns by visiting neighborhoods, businesses, and public spaces to promote our programs or services.
- Engage with community members in a friendly, professional manner to inform them about our mission and offerings.
- Collect feedback and data from interactions to support outreach goals and improve future campaigns.
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Negotiate with prospects to encourage participation or support for our initiatives.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions, including successful engagements and follow-up needs.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and share insights from field experiences.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience or field sales experience is highly desirable.
- Supervising experience or leadership roles in community outreach or marketing campaigns are a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to handle questions and objections confidently.
- Experience in door-to-door canvassing, telemarketing, or fundraising enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and interpersonal—are essential for building rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently outdoors while maintaining motivation and professionalism.
