Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food preparation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service and quality dishes.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is essential.
- Familiarity with dietary aide practices and menu planning is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
