Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient service delivery
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to uphold quality standards and consistency
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue
- Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, catering events, banquets, or special promotions
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary standards, and food safety management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions and reporting
- Excellent team management skills with experience supervising hospitality teams and conducting staff training
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing cashier responsibilities
- Experience in inventory control, food handling, and managing kitchen operations
- Effective communication skills for managerial tasks including interviewing, staff development, and customer service interactions
- Basic math skills for budgeting, profit analysis, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food industry trends including catering, banquet services, bar operations, or hotel experience is a plus
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality
