Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or restaurant, showcasing excellent customer service skills and a passion for mixology. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional service to patrons, and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained and compliant with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local regulations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering services when required.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a nightclub, restaurant, or catering setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
- Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling practices is desirable.
