You will use your expertise in direct care, oxygen delivery and equipment management, and clinical assessment to promote health, comfort, and inclusion for the student within the school community.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts LPN, LVN, CNA, or Medical Assistant license (required)
- Documented training and experience in oxygen delivery, management of related equipment, and oxygen saturation monitoring
- Strong background in clinical assessment and cardiorespiratory physical examination
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working with children or youth in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Compassionate, highly reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to collaborate professionally with school staff and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 health services, focusing on oxygen delivery/adjustment and monitoring hydration and oxygen saturation
- Conduct daily clinical assessments and physical exams as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation regarding student care and vital signs
- Communicate observations and concerns to appropriate school personnel and families
- Ensure student safety and well-being in all school activities and transitions throughout the day
