At True North Fleet Services, we’re looking for a Mobile Diesel Technician based out of Auburn, GA. This role supports fleet uptime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and quality repairs on diesel equipment in a mobile service environment.

Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on heavyduty trucks and trailers

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components
-
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues

Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met

Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized mobile work environment (service truck/van)
-
Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and leadership

3+ years of diesel maintenance experience (fleet, dealership, or independent shop)
-
Mobile technician experience required
-
ASE TSeries certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
