Since 2006, PurrFurred Pet Styling has been a respected, locally owned, family-operated pet grooming business proudly serving the Naperville, Aurora, and Warrenville communities. Our team is growing, and we are seeking a professional and motivated groomer to join us at our Aurora location.
Positions Available: Full-time or part-time.
Responsibilities
- Groom 5–6+ dogs per day, including: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts/trimming, teeth brushing, nail clipping and grinding, etc.
- Deliver breed-specific / client-specific grooming for small and large dogs
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and management.
- Maintain a friendly, professional attitude with pets and their owners.
- While we have front desk staff for scheduling and phones, you may occasionally be asked to assist when needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years grooming experience trained under the leadership of a professional pet groomer or have graduated from a licensed grooming program.
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute to the growth of a family-owned business.
- Reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Saturday availability is required.
- Cat grooming experience is a plus, but not required.
Compensation:
- Paid hourly + commission and gratuity
- Established groomers can earn $40-$50 per hour with commission and gratuity
- 100% gratuity
