Maintenance Technician
Miller Products & Supply Company is looking for a versatile individual to perform maintenance on varies pieces of equipment at our Iron Mountain facility. Key responsibilities in this position are to maintain stationary machinery and mobile heavy equipment, and to perform limited building maintenance and improvements.
Duties include:
· Routine maintenance on fixed fabrication machinery:
(pump & belt maintenance, greasing, diagnosis of electrical and hydraulic issues, etc.)
· Limited maintenance on rolling equipment to include trucks, cranes, forklifts and loaders:
(tire pressures, oil changes, hydraulic hose replacement, filter replacement, etc.)
· Fix or replace worn and broken parts as necessary
· Determine when repairs should be outsourced and do so in the safest and most cost-effective manner
· Use knowledge and creativity to produce new jigs, fabricate attachments for heavy equipment, and adapt equipment in order to repurpose it
· Make normal building repairs and improvements

This is a full-time position
7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday
