**Competitive Pay Based On Experience.
Bring your RN license to a role where knowledge, teaching and mentoring, change lives every single day.
For decades, Our Lady of the Wayside has opened doors for individuals with developmental disabilities — helping them live full, healthy, self-directed lives in the place they call home. Our nurses are at the heart of that promise. We’re looking for a Registered Nurse who wants to lead the training and safe delegation that keep our medication program strong across our homes and communities.
Why this role is different:
It’s not a bedside job, and it’s not a desk job. You’ll be a teacher and a clinical leader — certifying and coaching the direct support professionals who care for the people we serve, and using your nursing judgment to delegate and oversee medication administration the right way, every time.
What you’ll do:
- Train and certify our direct support staff in DODD medication administration (Categories 1–3) — the classroom, the skills check-offs, the renewals.
- Serve as our delegating nurse: assess, delegate, and supervise nursing tasks with confidence and care.
- Keep our medication program safe, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Partner with a nursing team and house managers who share your commitment to person-centered care.
What we’re looking for:
- A current, unencumbered Ohio RN license and at least 18 months of nursing experience.
- A heart for supporting individuals who are intellectually and developmentally disabled.
- A valid Ohio driver’s license and willingness to travel between our sites.
Why you’ll want to stay: Here, your work has a face and a name. You’ll watch the people you serve thrive because of the standards you set and the staff you train.

Not a DODD-certified RN Trainer yet? That’s okay. We prefer candidates who already hold the certification — but for the right nurse, we’ll provide the training.
