Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Field Service Installation Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional on-site service for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment and systems across manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations, optimize system performance, and enhance customer satisfaction. Duties
- Install, configure, and commission industrial equipment and systems at client sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of machinery including hydraulics, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to diagnose issues and plan repairs
- Operate various tools and equipment such as scissor lifts, welding tools (including <LOCATION> welding), precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers
- Perform electrical work involving high voltage and low voltage systems with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with customers to provide technical support, explain system functions, and ensure smooth installation processes
- Maintain detailed service records, complete reports on work performed, and update maintenance logs within the CMMS system
Skills
- Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in industrial mechanics, HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, and welding techniques
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using ammeters and ohmmeters
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently in various environments
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electricians, and high-voltage systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English
- Analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting purposes
- Background in military or industrial technician roles is a plus for adaptability and discipline
- Strong safety awareness combined with the ability to follow strict protocols during field service operations
