JOB DESCRIPTION:
Envirocheck is expanding into Chicago metro area!
We are looking for highly skilled and professional individuals to facilitate this expansion!
Envirocheck is an employee focused, national environmental consulting company seeking a self-motivated and career focused environmental consultant to perform commercial and residential environmental property inspections for environmental hazards.
The property inspections involve driving to the job site, collecting occupant and building related information, collecting environmental samples, and writing inspection reports of findings, conclusions and recommendations.
Field technicians will work from their home office preparing report documents, performing research and communicating with clients.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Current IDPH Asbestos Inspector and Air Sampling Licenses
- Current IDPH Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor License
- Certifications and experience in performing microbial assessments
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Self-motivated, career oriented, committed, consulting focused individual.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products.
- Must have a secure at home work area with desk, internet connection and space to store a minimal amount of office supplies and field equipment. Off street parking for company vehicle. Office computer / printers will be provided.
- A minimum of 5 years performing environmental property inspections
DESIRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
- IICRC - Water Restoration Technician Certification
- NIOSH 582 Certified and AIHA Analyst Registered
- Water or fire damage mitigation
- Building Science or Construction
- Insurance or property management
- A four-year degree in biology, chemistry, mycology, environmental science, or equivalent.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
