Territory Sales Manager – Kansas & Colorado
Bourgault Industries | Redefining the Future of Seeding
This Is Not a Sales Job. This Is a Mission.
If you’re looking for a comfortable role selling commodity iron—stop here.
If you want to lead the transformation of modern agriculture, keep reading.
Bourgault Industries is technology‑dominant, relentlessly innovative, agronomy‑obsessed, and globally respected.
For over 52 years, Bourgault globally has been setting the benchmark for no‑till and minimum‑till seeding systems—and today, we’re growing faster than ever across the United States and around the world. Demand for our precision, scale, and agronomic performance continues to outpace the market. Now we’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager to lead Kansas and Colorado, two of the most agronomically demanding and strategically important regions in North America.
The Opportunity
Kansas and Colorado are not starter territories. They are proving grounds.
As Bourgault’s Territory Sales Manager, you will:
- Own and grow one of the most important regions for no‑till and large‑scale seeding adoption
- Represent the most advanced air seeding technology in the world
- Partner directly with progressive farmers, elite dealers, and internal engineering and agronomy leaders
- Build long‑term market dominance—not short‑term transactions
This role is about credibility, influence, technical mastery, and leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead territory strategy across Kansas and Colorado, driving sustainable market share growth
- Develop deep, trusted relationships with top dealers and high‑value producers
- Be a technical and agronomic authority on no‑till and minimum‑till seeding systems
- Execute product launches, demos, field days, and large‑scale customer engagements
- Translate Bourgault’s engineering and agronomy advantages into real on‑farm value
- Collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, service, and global sales leadership
- Training and supporting dealer sales teams on product, pricing, and ordering
- Providing market intelligence and industry insights to internal leadership
- Resolving dealer concerns, problems and frustrations as they arise
- Assisting the service department in resolving customer complaints
- Represent Bourgault with professionalism, confidence, and conviction—because the product earns it
This role is home office‑based in Kansas or Colorado and requires approximately 75% travel.
Who Thrives Here
You don’t need to come from Bourgault.
You do need to think like an owner.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven success in a key agricultural sector including but not limited to: agricultural equipment, farming, dealership sales, precision ag, or agronomy‑driven systems
- Understands no‑till/min‑till farming, crop rotations, large‑acre operations, and progressive producers
- Is technically sharp, commercially disciplined, and comfortable leading complex conversations
- Brings intensity, curiosity, and pride to their work
- Wants to be known not just as a sales rep—but as a trusted partner in the ag community
- 10+ years of experience in agricultural equipment sales or closely related agricultural sectors (farming, agribusiness, precision ag, agronomy)
- A degree or diploma in agriculture, agribusiness, business, or ag/mechanical engineering
- Passionate about agronomy, farming and equipment
- Familiarity with Bourgault products, along with technical aptitude and experience with precision ag systems/monitors is a strong asset
- Proven ability to build long‑term relationships and influence outcomes
- Sound leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage projects
- Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills
- The ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Why Bourgault
- Technology Leadership – Engineering depth and product performance that competitors chase
- Agronomy First – Decisions driven by soil health, plant emergence, and long‑term yield
- Global Growth – Rapid expansion across the U.S. and international markets
- Reputation Matters – Bourgault people are known, respected, and trusted
- Legacy + Momentum – 52 years strong, with the ambition and pace of a startup
People don’t join Bourgault to blend in.
They join to build something that lasts.
