We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director specializing in Behavioral Health Outpatient Treatment Centers (OTC) to lead our clinical team with passion and expertise. Duties
- Lead and supervise the clinical team to ensure adherence to best practices in behavioral health, including psychotherapy, group therapy, and case management.
- Oversee patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical record standards.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention strategies.
- Coordinate intake processes for new clients, ensuring thorough assessments and appropriate treatment placements.
- Manage clinical operations within the outpatient setting, including scheduling, staff supervision, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Facilitate ongoing staff training on topics such as social work principles, cultural competence, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and working with co-occurring disorders.
- Collaborate with families, schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to support holistic client care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to improve service delivery models and contribute to the advancement of behavioral health knowledge.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health field; licensure required (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
- Extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health conditions; experience with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is highly preferred.
- Proven supervisory experience leading clinical teams within outpatient or hospital settings.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation tools including ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems; CPT coding experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and handling complex cases involving substance use disorders or co-occurring conditions.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical records management; proficiency in medical terminology is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and multidisciplinary team collaboration; experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds is valued.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care and compliance standards such as HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $84,412.63 - $101,658.22 per year
