Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Atlanta, GA
We are seeking an experienced Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist / Special Procedures Technologist for a 13-week contract. This is a day shift position with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call responsibilities.
Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) or Endovascular (EVOR) experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience performing and assisting with Interventional Radiology procedures
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Previous catheterization lab or vascular angiography experience preferred
- Travel candidates only (Applicants must reside 50+ miles from the facility)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform Interventional Radiology and special procedures while assisting physicians during minimally invasive procedures.
- Prepare patients, maintain sterile technique, and ensure high-quality imaging throughout procedures.
- Operate radiologic equipment safely and accurately while following hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient safety before, during, and after procedures while documenting care in Cerner.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team.

- Gross Weekly Pay: $3,120
- Hourly Rate: $78/hour (Gross)
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipends: Up to $1,840 (for eligible travelers)

- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with On-Call
