Smyth Companies is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead our Press and Finishing operations on 2nd shift at our Green Bay facility. This role is responsible for leading a safe work environment while driving quality, productivity, and team performance in a fast-paced manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate is a floor leader who can build strong teams, stay informed, make quick decisions, and act decisively.

Shift Details
- Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Overtime and occasional schedule flexibility as business needs require
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Press and Finishing operations on assigned shift
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture with safety as the number one priority in all decisions and actions
- Ensure quality standards are met and support teams in delivering products that meet customer expectations
- Drive production performance and productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and provide hands-on support where needed
- Coach, train, and develop employees while creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork
- Escalate and address production issues quickly to minimize downtime and maintain schedule attainment
- Partner with Scheduling, Customer Service, Maintenance, Quality, and leadership teams to ensure priorities are aligned
- Monitor staffing, labor utilization, machine performance, and workflow throughout the shift
- Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput
- Lead by example and foster a positive work environment
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or Technical/Vocational degree
- 5+ years of flexographic printing or label manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and make decisions with urgency
Preferred:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or printing environment
- Experience driving employee engagement and team development
