Duties
- Assist with construction, renovation, and repair tasks across multiple sites, following detailed instructions from supervisors
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up necessary safety barriers or signage
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues or repairs needed
- Support material handling activities such as loading, unloading, and transporting supplies around the site
- Painting experience
- Able to follow directions and in a timely manner.
- Work well with a team and or able to lead a team
- General construction knowledge
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or related manual labor roles preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment usage
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements
