Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Administrative Associate to support our team in delivering essential services to the community. The Administrative Associate plays a vital role in scheduling, preparation, and follow up for Access DuPage orientation. This role focuses on promoting wellness and health equity across underserved and vulnerable populations. Data entry for Access DuPage enrollment and medical debt are also key functions. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, passionate about public health, culturally competent, and skilled at customer service and follow through.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Delivery
· Schedules clients for weekly orientation workshops sponsored by DHC, scheduling may include other workshops as needed. Scheduling to occur via phone, text, and other technology.
· Assemble orientation materials as needed.
· Provide clients and facilities documentation of coordinated services.
· Enter data and maintain accurate database for tracking utilization of services provided and coordinated via patient education and medical debt; produce or assist in production of reports regarding service utilization and other ad hoc requests.
· Enter data and maintain accurate database for bills and claims related to medical debt.
Other Tasks
· Provides referral information to appropriate resources.
Community Engagement & Outreach
· Serve as a liaison between the organization and community stakeholders.
· Connects clients to available resources, including outreach, registration, payment or financial assistance application assistance, utilization tracking and other elements as needed.
· Participates in community events as needed.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
· HS Diploma
· Bilingual: Spanish/English required.
· 1 year experience preferred in healthcare or public health setting preferred.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Event set up may require moving or lifting training equipment.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. Regular office hours are Monday thru Friday 8am – 4pm. Occasional weekend or evening hours may be requested to support organization operations.
Travel:
Minimum short-distance travel is expected for this position.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
