Overview
We are seeking a team member for the closing shift at our child care center. This role requires caring for children, following through on planned activities and schedules and doing basic cleaning of the classroom at the end of the day. This is a 5 day a week position but we are willing to work with a scheduled start time (any time) but definitely need a mid day start.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during the closing hours of the childcare center, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Assist in general maintenance of the building at the end of the day - sweeping, vacuuming, mopping classrooms and common areas
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap times as needed for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
Skills
- Prior experience in a childcare, daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles is an asset; not but required. Training is provided.
- Be able to work M-F, flexible start times between 12pm-2pm and end every day by 5:45pm. There are additional hours available if you can work earlier but these times listed are necessary.
