Duties
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement services efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct oil changes and replace automotive fluids such as coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid following manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs including brake inspections, belt replacements, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform vehicle maintenance tasks with attention to detail.
- Conduct wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire longevity.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior automotive service technician experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and basic automotive diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on vehicles or handling tires.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and sales opportunities.
- Prior experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments or brake inspections is a plus.
