Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds for local deliveries.
- Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring cargo integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedules while complying with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs and ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle records in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven 2 years experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers, flatbeds.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and the operation of specialized equipment such as forklifts.
- Experience in load & unload procedures and route driving within local areas.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with freight handling and vehicle inspections.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation operations.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
