Harrell's Tire and Auto is seeking a Part-Time Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service center. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized facility, assisting customers, and supporting the overall customer service experience. Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:Keep the service center's interior and exterior clean and presentable.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum service bays, waiting areas, and restrooms regularly.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
Vehicle Parking and Retrieval:Assist customers with parking their vehicles in designated areas.
Retrieve customer vehicles when they are ready for pick-up.
Ensure vehicles are parked safely and securely.
Customer Assistance:Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide basic information about services and assist with any general inquiries.
Escort customers to the waiting area or provide shuttle service as needed.
Support Technicians:Assist automotive technicians with moving vehicles within the service center.
Prepare vehicles for service by removing or securing necessary components.
Maintain Cleanliness and Safety:Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours to accommodate customer needs and peak service times.
