Construction Laborer – General Equipment/Shop
Full-Time | $18 - $30 per hour DOE **Plus Performance BONUSES for each completed house and full benefit package after probationary period which includes PTO, Health insurance and retirement**
We are hiring a motivated EXPIERENCED General Construction Laborer with Equipment Operating experience backfilling, excavating foundations, final grading etc and shop mechanical experience would be a plus. This is a hands-on position working on residential homes from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Backfilling foundations
- Final grading on homes
- Assist in installing drainfield systems
- Site prep for concrete work
- Shop mechanical maintenance on equipment
- Light equipment repair etc.
Other tasks and responsibilities will be to also help in:
- Form, pour, and finish concrete
- Footings, foundations, sidewalks, driveways, and slabs
- Assist with grading, compaction, and site prep
- Work alongside foreman and crew daily in the field
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in general residential construction
- Ability to operate skidsteer, backhoe, trench rollers, mini excavator, plate packers etc.
- Ability topower tools safely such as mixers, saws, drills, compactors, and other machinery relevant to general residential construction projects.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged manual labor on construction sites. This position is not strictly operating equipment. You also will be aiding the crew in other aspects of residential construction.
- Experience in running construction equipment is required
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable, team-oriented, and ready to learn
- Valid driver’s license required
