We are currently seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Tankwagon Driver to join our
dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering high-
quality petroleum products to our local customer base.
What You’ll Do
Safe Fleet Operation: Safely operate a tankwagon truck to deliver fuel and
petroleum products to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers
throughout the region.
Product Handling: Load and unload petroleum products in strict compliance
with company policies, DOT, and OSHA regulatory standards.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to
ensure vehicle safety; maintain a clean, well-serviced vehicle at all times.
Administrative Accuracy: Prepare accurate delivery invoices on-site, including
precise pricing and tax details.
Bulk Plant Support: Perform routine plant maintenance tasks and other duties
as directed by the supervisor to keep operations running smoothly.
Customer & Product Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Byrnes
Oil products and services to provide exceptional customer service during every
delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
Credentials: Valid CDL Class A with a current Hazmat (H) or X
(Tanker/Hazmat) endorsement is required.
Safety Record: A clean driving record (MVR) with a strong commitment to DOT
and OSHA compliance.
Adaptability: Ability to confidently drive and navigate a commercial vehicle in all
seasons and Pacific Northwest weather conditions.
Physical Capability: Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Professionalism: Strong communication and customer service skills; reliable,
punctual, and self-motivated.
Screening: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and a
company road test.
