Beverage Knowledge and Recommendation:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and other beverage categories, offering informed recommendations to guests.
- Provide guidance on flavor profiles, pairings, and cocktail preferences, tailoring recommendations to meet individual guest preferences.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new products, and emerging techniques, continuously expanding your knowledge and repertoire.
Elevated Service and Hospitality:
- Deliver attentive and personalized service to guests, engaging them in conversation and creating memorable experiences behind the bar.
- Anticipate guests' needs proactively, offering refills, recommendations, and assistance with genuine warmth and hospitality.
- Uphold the restaurant's standards of excellence in every interaction, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated throughout their visit.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure synchronized service and a seamless dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate orders, prioritize tasks, and address guest preferences and special requests.
- Provide assistance and support to teammates during busy periods, fostering a culture of teamwork and camaraderie.
Responsible Alcohol Service:
- Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Monitor guest intoxication levels and exercise discretion in serving alcohol responsibly, intervening when necessary to prevent overconsumption.
- Demonstrate proficiency in techniques for checking identification, verifying legal drinking age, and handling alcohol-related incidents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a FLAIR bartender in a high-end restaurant or luxury hospitality environment, with a focus on craft cocktails and upscale service.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and mixology techniques, demonstrated through proficiency in creating balanced and inventive cocktails.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests confidently and build rapport.
- Must be comfortable with tableside service and crafting/serving Martini's & Caviar.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness, order, and efficiency behind the bar.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to accommodate the restaurant's operating hours.
