We are searching for an attentive laundry attendant to support the functions of our establishment. The laundry attendant's responsibilities include cleaning and folding hotel linens. Additional hours are available in Housekeeping Department.
To be successful as a laundry attendant, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
- Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents & supplies.
- Replacing laundry detergent, bleach, softener containers.
- Ensuring that the laundry facility always remains clean.
Laundry Attendant Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferable.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 10 pounds unaided
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Available to work shifts on weekends.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
