American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position in a Free Standing ED setting requiring TNCC and CPI certifications.

Work in an 11-bed Free Standing Emergency Department
-
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Rotating weekend requirement
-
No on-call requirements
-
Uses ventilator and point-of-care lab equipment
-
Meditech EMR system used
-
13-week contract assignment
-
Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), NIH Stroke Certification, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required

FSED experience preferred

Experience with IV starts and 12-lead EKG/patient assessment

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Perform IV starts, 12-lead EKG, and patient assessments in a fast-paced ED environment

Team includes RN and CNC staff on both day and night shifts

Navy blue scrub color required
