Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Assistant will be responsible for maintaining office organization, assisting with client and employee inquiries, and supporting various clerical functions, including project coordination, data entry, file management, and providing administrative support to the office.
Office Assistant Duties:
- Being the first point of contact for clients or visitors.
- Answering phones, retrieving voicemails, directing faxes, as well as assisting with employee messaging portal.
- Organize office supplies, maintain inventory, and place orders as necessary.
- Daily office operations; Client file management, organizing documents both physical and digital.
- Supporting managers and staff.
- Assist with medical records filing; Prior Authorizations and Service Plans/ 485 Completion.
- Assist with Employee time sheet and EVV reconciliation.
- Assist with Employee HR file compliance and audits.
- Implementation of policies and guidelines for home health personnel, providing professional input to related administrative processes, and systems.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Maintaining clean office space.
- Other duties as assigned.
Office Assistant Skills:
- Possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures that are necessary for providing the highest quality of care.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
Office Assistant Qualifications:
- One (1) year experience in a Medicare/Medicaid certified Home Health environment, in an administrative role preferred.
- Possess and maintains a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
- High School Diploma / GED required; associate's degree preferred.
Work Environment:
The work environment is at any approved site of United Home Health Services/United P Plus. They are representative of the environments that a Home Health Aide, Clinical Support Staff or Office Personnel must be able to work in to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
