Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic retail team. who has experience working in a liquor store & also who is on floor sales person. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and satisfied. Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information or demonstrations as needed
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity
- Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking supplies and merchandising products effectively
- Assist with inventory management through stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or assisting via phone calls
- Support team members by supervising during busy periods and helping train new staff on POS systems and customer service standards
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Demonstrated supervising experience in a retail or grocery store environment is a plus
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, stock management, and basic retail math is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle customer concerns professionally
- Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments will help you excel in this role
- Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
