Legacy Technologies LLC dba PacAero is looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team. The position involves a high level of accuracy on intricate work. An eye for detail is critical and care for quality is essential as we pride ourselves on being a quality conscious company.
Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing of new tooling and die inserts

Development of new tooling
-
Regular maintenance and sharpening of existing tooling

Knowledge of setting dies and making adjustments when necessary
-
Need experience in using various machines (milling; lathe and grinding machines)

Knowledge of jigs, fixtures and gauges
-
Maintenance of all tools and measuring instruments
Requirements:
Qualifications:

Previous experience in precision mechanical engineering

Good technical knowledge of drawings; equipment and machinery

Excellent trouble shooting skills
-
Trade qualifications in toolmaking or equivalent toolmaking experience

Experience with multistage deep drawing an advantage

Must have excellent communication skills

Must be able to work independently as well as with others.

CNC experience is desirable as well as just old-fashioned toolmaking skills.
