Yearbook Representative
At DSP | DSP Yearbooks, we believe every school has a story to tell. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and organized Yearbook Representative to help yearbook advisers and students bring those stories to life—and make sure their school community knows about it.
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with a background or interest in graphic design, marketing, communications, education, sales, or customer relations. The Yearbook Representative will work directly with school yearbook advisers and student staffs, providing guidance, training, creative support, sales and marketing assistance, and ongoing support throughout the yearbook process.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with people, technology, design, and marketing and enjoys helping others learn and succeed. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills are essential, as representatives will support multiple schools and projects while helping advisers and students stay on track with production deadlines and yearbook sales goals.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently:

- Comfortable teaching and guiding individuals and groups
- Ability to build positive relationships with school advisers, students, administrators, and staff
- Willingness to learn new software, processes, products, and yearbook best practices
- Comfortable discussing sales goals and helping schools implement effective marketing strategies
Design & Proofreading Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Strong spelling and grammar skills
- Good understanding of basic graphic design principles
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow and teach established design and style guidelines
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong technological aptitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and help others improve their work
Software Skills:
Experience with or familiarity with the following programs is preferred:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Sheets
Training will be provided on DSP's yearbook software, processes, products, services, and sales and marketing resources.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Yearbook layout/design experience is a plus, but not required
- Graphic design, marketing, communications, education, photography, sales, or related experience is a plus
- Customer service or customer relations experience preferred
- Previous experience working with students, schools, or educational programs is a plus
This is a deadline-based position, and work outside of normal business hours may occasionally be necessary during our winter and spring deadline seasons.
