About the Role:
We’re seeking a high-level production climber who is confident, efficient, and technically skilled. This role is for someone who can execute pruning and removals safely without bottlenecking the crew, thinks ahead on job flow, and balances precision with steady, professional pace.
If you’re the climber other crews rely on to keep the day moving, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced climbing, rigging, pruning, and removals to ANSI A300/Z133 standards
- Work with purpose. Making good cuts, good decisions, and maintaining consistent productivity
- Plan work positioning, rigging strategy, and sequencing to minimize delays and re-work
- Communicate proactively with the crew to keep the job progressing smoothly
- Support and mentor ground staff when needed without losing pace
- Participate in safety checks and maintain equipment readiness
What Strong Candidates Demonstrate
- Confidence and efficiency aloft. Comfortable moving through a canopy and staying productive
- Ability to anticipate cuts, rigging loads, and risk instead of stopping to reassess repeatedly
- Understanding of pruning objectives and structural impact, not just “taking branches off”
- Calm problem-solving under pressure and respect for safety without excessive hesitation
- Pride in craftsmanship and awareness that the crew’s success depends on your pace
Requirements
- 3+ years professional climbing experience (SRT/SRS & DdRT proficiency)
- Proven track record as a primary climber or lead climber on production crews
- Strong rigging experience and ability to manage complex removals
- Valid CDL
- ISA Certification preferred but not required for the right experience level
- Bucket operation experience a plus
What We Offer
- Competitive pay based on skill, productivity, and responsibility
- Steady workflow and well-maintained professional equipment
- Respect-driven crew culture. No shortcuts, no chaos, no bravado
- Certification support and opportunities for leadership growth
