We are seeking an enthusiastic and skillful float to join our small team. When filling in a classroom, you will be responsible for creating an environment for children with nurturing and engaging experiences, fostering their development and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and classroom management and have an interest in working with children of all ages 2months to 5 years old.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering Development: Encourage physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth through age-appropriate play and activities.
- Lesson Planning: Develop lesson plans and curriculum that promote learning and development.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents about their child's progress and needs.
- Behavior Management: Manage and evaluate children's behavior, and collaborate with parents to address any issues.
- Safety and Environment: Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment, and prepare materials for daily activities.
- Help maintain a tidy center
- Prepare snack time meals
- Assist classroom staff , as needed

Requirements:
-High School diploma and at least 18 years of age.
-Pediatric CPR/First Aide certification, or be willing to acquire with 30 days
-Classroom management experience and/or licensed childcare facility experience are a plus

- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
-Ability to adapt and be part of a team.

Job Type: This position is full-time 30-40 hours a week. The hours of the center are M-F 7:00am - 5:30 pm.
Pay: Starting at $17.50+ based on experience with a 90-day review and pay increase.
