American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with Labor & Delivery experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level 3 trauma center in Washington state.

Labor & Delivery unit within a 388-bed Level 3 trauma center featuring 12 L&D beds, 3 ORs, and 2 OB ER rooms
-
Patient population includes high and low risk antepartum, intrapartum, C-sections, emergent D&Cs, post-delivery tubal ligations, and unplanned hysterectomies

Facility averages 150–175 deliveries per month

Charting is performed using Epic EMR
-
Schedule is 12-hour shifts (day and night rotations, 0700–1930 and 1900–0730) at 36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend rotation required
-
No floating or on-call requirements
-
Dark blue scrubs are required and provided by the hospital

Minimum of 1 year of surgical tech experience
-
Experience with L&D case types including C-sections, emergent D&Cs, tubal ligations, and unplanned hysterectomies required

BLS certification required

CST credential required
-
Washington state license required if applicable (must be in hand or have proof of application submitted 6+ weeks prior)

Ability to assist after vaginal deliveries, set up and break down delivery tables, and help stock rooms

At least one supervisor-level reference (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or above) is required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start
